what we believe

…God, the Father is infinite and eternal.  He is loving, all-knowing, all-powerful, always present, perfect in every way, in complete control and never changing. 

…God, the Son is Jesus Christ born of a virgin, became man, lived a perfect life, died for the sins of all and arose from the dead to live forever.

...God the Holy Spirit is received by every Christian at conversion. The Holy Spirit is necessary to lead the Christian life. The Holy Spirit gives gifts, leads and guides us.

 …the Bible is the inspired word of God.  We believe it to be true, inspired and the authoritative word of God. It further reveals God’s plan for the world.

…every person matters to God, but all are separated from God because of their failure to meet God’s standards (sin).

…forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life are available to anyone who believes in the name of Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son.  Jesus is the only way to God.  Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him.

…the church is a living body, of which, Jesus Christ is the Head. The church exists to embody good news to the world. As a community we believe in sharing in one another’s lives, learning to imitate Jesus and meeting the needs of our community. 

…in Christ’s Return to make all things new and establish his Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

We would further affirm both the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed.
